Working With Me

I work with leaders and leadership bodies who are willing to take their calling seriously—and who know that faithful leadership often requires stepping into uncertainty rather than avoiding it.

Who I Work With

I partner with:

  • Solo pastors and head pastors

  • Executive pastors and senior staff leaders

  • Elder boards and Sessions

  • Mid councils and denominational bodies

  • Individual leaders both within and beyond formal ministry roles

Whether you are leading alone, alongside a team, or within a complex system, my work is shaped to meet leaders where they are and help them move forward with clarity and courage.

How We Work Together

Engagements take several forms, depending on context and need:

  • One-on-one leadership development and coaching

  • Workshops and retreats

  • Consultations with leadership teams, Sessions, or boards

  • Teaching and guest speaking

Some leaders engage around a short-term diagnostic or focused challenge. Others work with me over several monthsor in an ongoing coaching relationship. There is no single “right” length—only what best serves the work God is calling you to do.

My Role

Depending on the situation, I function as:

  • A coach, helping leaders clarify their own authority, direction, and next steps

  • A consultant, offering insight into leadership dynamics and organizational patterns

  • A teacher, providing frameworks and language that strengthen leadership capacity

  • A systems interpreter, naming forces and patterns that are often difficult to see from the inside

These roles often overlap, but the goal is always the same: leadership development that is genuinely transformational, not merely strategic or technical.

What Working With Me Is—and Is Not

Working with me is not about:

  • General advice or generic leadership tips

  • Pre-packaged answers or “best practices” applied without discernment

  • Doing things simply because they are familiar or fashionable

Instead, this work invites leaders to:

  • Become more comfortable stepping into the unknown

  • Build trust and cultivate healthy, resilient relationships

  • Develop decision-making and boundaries that become second nature

  • See new possibilities and find the courage to act on them

  • Own their calling in Christ with confidence and humility

Theological Commitments

My work is grounded in the Reformed tradition, shaped by evangelical convictions, and open in an ecumenical spirit. Scripture is not an accessory to the work—it is fully integrated into how leadership, authority, formation, and mission are understood.

At its core, this work exists to help the Church fulfill its mission—not by retreating into safety, but by forming leaders who are grounded, hopeful, and capable of leading faithfully in complex times.

Are you ready to take your next step?
